GLASSES SIZING GUIDE
WHAT IS FRAME SIZE?
The frame size refers to the horizontal width of the frame measured between the center of the left and the right hinge. Our frames come in one or multiple sizes. See the range in the chart below.
HOW DO I KNOW THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ME?
To find your correct frame size use a ruler to measure the hinge-to-hinge distance of a pair of glasses that you already own and that fits you well. Consider the tolerance range of +/- 4mm.
Glasses Sizing Guide
Choosing the right size for your glasses is essential to ensure a comfortable fit and clear vision. This guide will help you understand how to measure your glasses and select the perfect pair.
Understanding Glasses Measurements
Glasses measurements are usually printed on the inside of the temple arm or the bridge of the frame. These numbers represent the lens width, bridge width, and temple length. For example, a frame with the measurements 52-18-140 would have a lens width of 52 mm, bridge width of 18 mm, and temple length of 140 mm. A lens width of 52mm and Bridge of 18mm would mean the width of the frame from hinge to hinge would be ~122mm (52x2 + 18)
How to Measure Your Glasses
-
Lens Width: Measure the horizontal width of one lens at its widest point, usually from the edge of the frame to the bridge. This measurement is in millimeters.
-
Bridge Width: Measure the width of the bridge, which is the part of the frame that rests on your nose. This measurement is also in millimeters.
-
Temple Length: Measure the length of the temple arm, which is the part of the frame that extends over your ear. This measurement is typically in millimeters as well.
Selecting Your Glasses
When choosing your glasses, consider the following factors:
-
Face Shape: Determine your face shape (oval, round, square, heart, or diamond) and select frames that complement it. For example, if you have a round face, angular frames can help add definition, while people with square faces may prefer round or oval frames to soften their features.
-
Frame Size: Use your glasses measurements to choose a frame size that fits comfortably. A well-fitting frame should sit comfortably on your nose, with the temple arms resting comfortably on your ears and not pinching or slipping.
-
Style: Consider your personal style and how your glasses can enhance your overall look. Think about factors such as frame color, shape, and material.
By following this guide, you'll be well on your way to selecting the perfect pair of glasses that fit comfortably and suit your style. Happy shopping!
"Shut up," said Brewster, with malicious glee. "They also serve who only stand and wait, you know," he chuckled. "You can serve your admiring and grateful country quite as well in the adjutant's office as summering on the verdant heights of the Mogollons." "The very same company," gasped the woman. His duty as a slaver. The rumbling sound of the bombardment came to him only dimly, and for brief seconds. To Cadnan, it sounded like a great machine, and he wondered about that, too, but he could find no answers. "Yes—maybe he could comfort me. Oh, I know[Pg 368] I've mocked 'em and scoffed 'em all my life, but I reckon they could do summat for me now." The steward at length appeared, and descended the steps to classify the people for the intended homage, and to satisfy himself that none had disobeyed the summons. "It would be well, my good friend, if all men observed their vows as religiously as you do."
